Agency with Choice (AWC)

Agency with Choice offers the option for individuals to partner with BCL and share responsibility of selecting their support staff and directing their day-to-day activities.

Individuals who choose this support model will have a budget allocation for the purchase services to meet their needs. The participant/family is able to identify the people they wish to employ with the support of an agency to assist in the hiring process, payroll management, and other related tasks. Individuals will work with their direct support staff to create activities that relate to their personal goals. This could include interpersonal skills, community integration, money management, cooking, employment, and more.

Agency with Choice also offers family navigation to assist families with goals, challenges, and any questions they may have.
